KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU KA-CHING!
CHEAP TO BUY.EXPENSIVE TO FIX?
The bed arrives. The mattress doesn’t fit. Or the sofa needs returning. Before you pay, find out who pays next.
Build a matching bed set. ↗It arrives. It doesn’t fit.
“Queen” will not close a gap or fix an overhang. Get the mattress width and length, and the frame’s usable inside dimensions, in centimetres. Our Queen is 152 × 190 cm. Check the complete sofa dimensions, doors, stairs and lift access too.
Still cheap after the shipping bill?
Ask for the total delivered to your address: product, freight, any applicable tax, local delivery, stairs and assembly where charged. Compare the same scope of service. A low listing price is only one line of the bill.
Damaged on arrival. Who pays now?
Get the claims process in writing. Who handles damage or defects? Where must the item be returned? Who pays freight, and what evidence is required? Do not assume a warranty means someone nearby will collect or repair a bulky item.
Buying from overseas and buying compressed are separate choices.
Pinduoduo is a marketplace, not one product specification. Sellers, construction and terms vary. Check the actual offer. If it also comes compressed or flat packed, check recovery, construction and assembly separately. A bargain should still work in your home.
